Our staff are very committed to the needs of our pupils and give freely of their own time to organise a variety of clubs. Such clubs are very popular and, to be fair, priority is given to children of different ages for some activities.
Children have been able to take part in various activities, including choir, orchestra, aerobics and storytelling during the past year. Some of the clubs run throughout the year and some for a term. A letter is sent out to parents at the beginning of each term outlining the various activities which are available. For clubs which take place outside of school hours parents are requested to complete a parental consent form, which includes telephone numbers in case of emergency and the method that the child will get home after the club.
A small charge is imposed for some of our extra-curricular activities, if the club is provided by an outside agency which imposes a charge on the school. Details of these charges can be obtained from the school office.
Threemilestone School is very proud of the wide range of clubs that we offer. These include: football, netball, tag rugby, badminton, pottery, calligraphy, green power pro car, fencing, golf, table tennis, hockey, basketball, athletics, multi-skills, orchestra, choir (KS1 & KS2), recorders, storytelling, sewing, gardening, wake & shake, brass, Cornish dancing and science.
