Where learning is fuelled by creativity

14th November 2019 in Headteacher's Update

There is never a dull week at TMS – another week where our children shone. We have been so proud of all our children all week: the respectful 2 minute silence with Rev’d Jeremy on Remembrance Day, our ECO team visit to Age UK Cornwall, children being involved in an interview process and finally the commitment to raising money for Children in Need. The MPs wrote a fantastic quiz for the teachers – well done to Early Years who were the winning team. Year 6 were unfortunately the losing team – the ECO team ran a wonderful RELOVE YOUR STUFF sale, and also what wonderful cakes in our TMS bake off! Mr Lara, Mrs Vale, Mr Wake, Miss Bryant and myself attended a fantastic conference by Mary Myatt on shaping the curriculum and came back with great ideas to shape our practice further.

And to top it all, the news about the new Sports Hall! (see separate news post!)

Next week will bring the City of Lights festival, as well as hosting 10 headteachers from Plymouth, who want to see how enriched our children are by our unique TMS STAR curriculum. We feel privileged to learn alongside your children every single day. Thank you

Ms Teagle
