What a great way to end the week! The school looks like a sea of green – so lovely to see so
many children getting involved.
Year 5 and 6 have had a visit from the Eden project – ask your child if they are a Doer, Shopper, Learner or Shouter!
All the children have been taking part in activities to raise awareness about climate change
and the simple things we can do to help. They have also been staging ‘protests’ at the front
of the school to enable the voice of the young to be heard.
Have a look at the post on the Eden Twitter site!
Members of the @edenschoolsteam are visiting schools across Cornwall today (by low-carbon transport!) to deliver lessons on climate change. All part of us marking the global #climatestrike. Teachers can download the lesson plan here: https://t.co/p0u1b1CVVO pic.twitter.com/Qh6J5FpbOp

Thank you for giving the children a voice. Please keep giving them the opportunity to express their views.
For along time now I have seen our young people treated as second class citizens!! They have opinions and ideas and I know that today they have enjoyed being Loud and proud about it.
