Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Portreath today. Despite the initial hail storms, the sun came out for us just in time! The children loved exploring the caves and rock pools, spending time sketching the landscape and building a dam for a stream. It was really exciting for the children to be up close to the Cornish animals that we have been learning about as part of our science learning this term on Cornish habitats. The children showed true resilience and collaboration, particularly when they were working in groups and looking out for each other on slippery surfaces! A fun, wet and sandy day was had by all!
