Y4 – visit to Truro Museum

24th October 2022 in Humanities Team, Year 4

What a brilliant day we had at Truro Museum! So many facts learnt, exhibits visited and artefacts explored. Although we went to the museum to learn about Ancient Egypt, I know everyone came away with so many facts about all sorts of history and Cornish information. All 60 children took part in workshops with the museum staff where they looked at artefacts and discovered the uses behind them. After that, we all then saw a real-life MUMMY! Which if we’re honest, was slightly creepy but really interesting and something we definitely won’t forget in a while! Thank you to all the adults that came, staff at the museum and all of the children – you were fantastic and so many adults were impressed with your knowledge and behaviour! Well done!
