Last week, children in Year 6 had the opportunity to visit Richard Lander School for the morning to participate in a science fair. Children in Richard Lander were in groups and had set up interactive work stations across the hall in showcasing a range of different science elements.
Our children got to go round and ask questions, learn about the topic, complete sports challenges and games and even get involved in carrying out practical experiments. This was followed up with a science quiz with questions based around what they had learned from the other children in the morning. It showcased some of the incredible STEM opportunities secondary schools have to offer and our pupils at TMS came back with smiles and a new buzz about starting their journeys next year in Key Stage 3.
