The Year 6 language team are running a 25o word short story competition for every to enter. We hope that as many children as possible will rise to the challenge  – a whole story in 250? Really?

These are the things you need to know:

• Choose one of the 2 pictures a a prompt.
• 250 maximum words (please write how many words on your entry!)
• It can be handwritten or typed.
• Your families can support you, but please have as many of your own ideas as possible.
• Submit your entries in your special classroom folder by Friday 1st March.
• Please don’t make it too scary … we have to read them all!

The winners will be announced on World book Day … with really special and unique prizes.
