We would like to invite you to a phonics workshop for parents and carers to find out more about the teaching of phonics at Threemilestone School. The workshop will outline what phonics is, how it helps your child with their early reading and writing. We will also provide a range of ideas for activities/resources you can use to support your child at home. We will then visit a class to see a phonics lesson in action.

After we will share information about the Year 1 phonic screening taking place in the second week of June. This workshop is open to all parents and carers who would like to come along to learn a bit more about phonics and how you can support your child in their early reading and writing.
