On the last Friday before the half term holidays, year 5 spent a day conducting fieldwork.  They used their mapping skills and field sketches to plot the layout of the park (including using keys) before discussing ways in which it could be improved.

They then created a survey to see what other children in the school thought about the park and used these results to suggest ways in which the park could be improved.
