“PAST AND PRESENT” SONGS WE ARE SINGING IN SCHOOL

We are delighted that Threemilestone School is participating in this year’s ASONE Music Hub’s ‘Songfest’.

ASONE Music Hub is working with over 100 primary schools this year, across Cornwall, offering support for school singing and the opportunity to partipate in a series of ‘Songfest’ concerts.  The concerts bring together primary school singers to perform together with a live band – and having participated in previous Songfest performances I know that it promises to be a really exciting event.

The live performance that Threemilestone School is performing in is at Truro Cathedral and we will take a group of 10 singers along to this live performance.  There will also be an Online Songfest Singalong in school for all singers to participate in.

The children have been learning the songs in Sing It club with Mrs Browning and are doing really brilliantly picking up all the lyrics. The Songs are from a collection of songs called ‘Past and Present’ with each one being about a different period or event in history.
