Following the generous Harvest donations brought in by the whole school, all the PALs got to work as a team, bagging everything up! The PALs from Years 4, 5 and 6 then took the produce to the Foodbank and became part of the team of volunteers for the morning by weighing in our donations – an incredible 210 kilos which equates to 350 meals! They then had to sort everything by date and food type into many different boxes! The staff and volunteers were absolutely delighted with the generous donations, and to see the children working together so brilliantly as a team supporting others. They were a real credit to the school and their families.
We would like to say a massive thank you to Dr Tregidga, our Chair of Local Monitoring Committee, for accompanying us on our trip, and for driving some of the larger bags to the Foodbank.
