Well, what a ‘froggy’ time it has been for the children in Bodelva class! In March, Bodelva class welcomed some new class members – TADPOLES! The children in Year 6 have witnessed every exciting milestone in their tadpoles stages of metamorphosis, from the very first tadpole hatching from the spawn to the final frog being released back into nature. The children were incredibly hands-on with the baby frogs and it was not at all rare to enter our classroom and see a frog being gently held by one of our animal loving Year 6’s.
We have absolutely loved having so many visitors from across the school come in to check on our tadpoles and we are already missing them very much, as by the end of last term, the new baby frogs were all ready to be released into the wild (Miss Bryant’s pond at home). So here are some photos which capture our journey with the tadpoles rather well – Enjoy!
