And our residential season has kicked off with an incredible ‘Sleeping with Sharks’ with our Year 2 team. This is a much loved residential and once again, it was so much fun. Despite having the weather against us in Paignton Zoo, the children showed incredible resilience. Pizza Hut is always fun and once again, the staff at the Aquarium really embraced our TMS team with excitement, games and far too much energy, keeping us all going until almost midnight! As always, my sincerest thanks to our staffing team for making this residential possible. Leaving their own families to be there for our TMS team show the level of commitment to being part of something special and VERY exciting!
We also had a visit to the Tate, starting our links with this amazing establishment and hopefully more to come – thank you so much to Miss Bryant for organising this. Our year 3 team had a wonderful science day out at the Royal Cornwall Showground – thanks to Mrs Vale and Miss Body. WHAT A BUSY WEEK!
We even had time to make an appearance at the annual Songfest at Truro Cathedral. Our singers had an incredible time with Mrs Browning showing off our singing skills and having fun with other incredible musicians. Thank you Mrs Browning!
As our Spring term comes to an end, don’t forget to come along to our Spring Art Afternoon on Thursday from 1.30. You are able to then take your children to the PTFA Easter Egg hunt if you fancy exploring and hunting in our school grounds.
We hope you have a wonderful weekend – enjoy the rain and please jump in a few puddles!
