Year 1 and EYFS had a fantastic time when Cornish author and illustrator Alasdair Hoswell came to visit! He shared his book ‘Cornwall The Land You Can Count On’, where we learned about counting to 10 in Cornish as well as lots of Cornish celebrations and amazing places to visit!

We then enjoyed some art and craft activities making Cornish choughs, and pictures of mermaids, fishing boats and tin mine engine houses. Finally, Alasdair shared another of his books ‘There’s Something Nasty in my Pasty’ with us, which is going to be our inspiration for our next Drawing Club! Thank you for an amazing day Alasdair!
