What a fantastic time we had when local author and illustrator Alasdair Hoswell spent the day with us sharing two of his own Cornish books! ‘There’s Something Nasty in my Pasty’ is our latest Drawing Club book, and it was so special to have the author to read it to us in person! Ali showed us how he creates his illustrations and worked with us to create our own. In the afternoon the focus was on his newest publication ‘Cornwall The Land you can Count on’ which as well as focusing on counting in English AND Cornish, also looks at Cornish culture and traditions. We are so grateful to Ali for an amazing day of Cornish learning!
