This week is the national anti-bullying week – with the theme – ‘One Kind Word’. Children are welcome to wear odd socks throughout the week to highlight how important this week is.

As the week goes by, in assemblies and in class, the children will be exploring more the theme of kindness. In KS2 this morning, we discussed the word ‘banter’ as well as the reasons behind why people may be unkind. In EYFS/KS1 this afternoon we talked about how important it is to be kind – and how easily kindness can spread!
