Mr Bagley gave an assembly this week on Design Technology (DT). The children were asked the question ‘what is DT?’ We then talked about their ideas, narrowing things down to the three areas studied at TMS – Food and Nutrition, Materials and Structures and Textiles. The children discussed the rapid pace at which technology is moving before looking at some examples of how technology around them has changed in the last 100 years.
