It was fantastic to see the children back again in school, but also very aware that the children had been exposed to worrying news from the Ukraine throughout the weekend.  In our KS2 assembly, Mrs Ewart used our ‘Picture News’ resources as a basis to further our understanding of the current situation.  In this very complex situation, we focused on the geography of the countries involved and the differences in how countries are lead. In the humanitarian crisis, we discussed how countries are supporting the people of Ukraine
