This week was National Science Week.  Being the first week back, our main concern was to settle the children into their classes and school routines so rather than launch into a whole school project we celebrated the achievements of scientists in assemblies within the three phases of the school.  The children joined in discussions about the development of the vaccine, the new Mars Rover and jobs in the STEM field.  They also took part in an aeronautic  investigation and made predictions about the outcome of an experiment with food colouring.
