Christmas has finally begun at Threemilestone School! Even with the covid restrictions, we managed to do the traditional lighting of the Christmas Tree. Rhyan, the eldest in the school, had been waiting for this moment for a few years, secretly hoping that anyone new wouldn’t beat his September birthday! Ella, the youngest child at TMS, came confidently forward to take control of the plunger!
With the children from Bedruthan and Blisland crowded around the base of the tree, and Y6s around the outside of the hall, we had a very short ‘turning on occasion’ which was ‘zoomed’ live across the school. We were surprised the community didn’t hear “5-4-3-2-1” coming from every classroom in the school!
And then the lights lit up the hall.
With the excitement of ‘Zooming’ unfortunately the actual moment wasn’t recorded for you all to see … but we managed to re-live the moment for you to see, without the atmosphere created by the audience!
