5 pupils went to the cross country competition on Monday at Helston Community College with 5 pupils. They all did amazingly. There were 70 different primary schools in attendance, with between 60-80 in each race from across south west Cornwall and the top 20 from each race qualified for the final. The pupils were nervous but eager to get started. Senara came 12th place, Archie came 9th place, Amelia came 27th place, Esme came 43rd place and Oliver came 2nd place. All in all, the pupils absolutely loved it and gave 100%. I was so proud of them all. On Thursday, the 3 who qualified will be going to Newquay Sports Centre to compete in the last race.

It’s going to be a good successful day I think and I wish them all the best.
