On Friday 2nd February 90 children participated in a cross country qualifier at Richard Lander School. This is always a very busy competition with children from all around the Truro area, in total 350 children were in attendance. The year 4s ran 800m, y5s ran 1200m and the year 6s ran 1600m. The top 8 got to go through to the next round and with roughly 60 children in each race, it was going to be very tough. Results:

Ella Mae – 2nd

Eleni – 8th

Daniel – 4th

Cade – 6th

Senara – 6th

Archie – 5th

So these 6 are off to Pool School on the 11th March for the finals – Well done to you all! Letters will be sent out closer to the time.
