What an exciting week this has been!

The highlight of the week has to be the Cornish Tea Treat we had on Thursday when we paraded around the whole school wearing our ‘Sunday Best’, carrying the class banners we had made while the other children and the staff all waved us on. Afterwards we returned to our classrooms where we enjoyed our picnic which included Tea Treat Buns! It was really interesting to learn about this Cornish tradition from the past. 

We have learnt some more sounds (w and x) and in maths we have been investigating the number 6 as well as participating in the whole school Rockstar day where we have been playing number games both on the computer and with counting equipment. When the rain stopped, we had a great time with some outdoor learning, including riding the bikes and scooters!

Please note we have given the children a phoneme frame to use when spelling words with their sound cards.
