Where learning is fuelled by creativity

We can’t believe it is half term already! What a busy time we have had with our learning! We are delighted with the way in which the children have settled and learned the routines of being at school. The sound pouches seem to be working well, with the children really keen to show us how they can make words themselves as well as reading words we are showing them.

At the start of this week we had a visit from baby Tabitha and her mum and dad, where we asked them lots of questions to find out about babies and their needs. We also rode the bikes for the first time, did some ’Dough Disco’ to strengthen our fingers, listened out for rhyming words and started our STAR Learning books. We are all ready for a half term break…but don’t forget to keep practising with the sound pouches and reading books! Have a lovely week.

So nice to see this I am a teaching assistant in Lozells School in Birmingham and Tabitha’s granny, it’s a good way for children to learn about babies and their needs . Well done
