As part of our Hungry Caterpillar learning, the children have been exploring the different fruits featured in the story through a hands-on tasting session. They were excited to try each one, using their senses to look closely at the colours and textures before having a nibble. We talked about which fruits were sweet, which were juicy, and which ones the children had never tried before. It sparked brilliant conversations about favourite flavours and healthy eating, and the children showed great curiosity and confidence as they tasted something new.
