Judith Kerr (1923–2019) was a beloved British author and illustrator, best known for her classic children’s books The Tiger Who Came to Tea and the Mog the Forgetful Cat series.
Born in Germany, she fled the Nazis with her family as a child, an experience she later recounted in her semi-autobiographical novel When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit.
Her work is celebrated for its warmth, gentle humour, and vivid illustrations, and she remains a cherished figure in children’s literature. Judith has written over 50 books and sold over 10 million copies of her books!
