The girls’ football tournament was amazing, with 15 teams in attendance, setting a new record
We took two teams of 20 girls in total and the day was run over three pitches with three different pools (groups). Results for one of our teams were:
TMS v St Mary’s 0-0
TMS v Truro School 2-0 won
TMS v Mount Hawke B 3-0 won
TMS v Cuscarne 0-0
The girls did really well, but unfortunately we didn’t qualify for the next round.
The results for our other team were:
TMS v St Agnes 0-2 lost
TMS v Archbishop Benson 1-0 won
TMS v Kea 0-0
TMS v Mount Hawke A 0-0
Again, the girls did really well.
We finished off the tournament playing against one another in a friendly and the game ended 0-0 – with such even teams, it was a good game to watch. Well done everyone!
