We’ve almost made it to the end of term – and what a week we have had and we are excited about the activities going on next week! This week we have had Miss Smith learning with her new class (current Rinsey Cove) and lots of additional transition work going on across the school. Y6 have completed an amazing art unit of learning and have excitingly been retweeted by our focus artist (Suzanne Kruisdijk) – what a talented group of Y6 we have! We have also handed out our Jubilee books – one for each child – as a memory of this significant occasion.
We have also worked as a staff team to work on improving our relationship policy, reading current research papers, consulting with children and staff and using high quality books. This has been a really exciting opportunity for our staff to have professional discourse and some great ideas have been put forward.
Next week we have our sports afternoons and we will obviously be consulting with our H&S teams on risk assessments for each day, dependent on the weather. If there are any changes to the plan, we will let you know asap. Currently, we are planning to have the EYFS and KS1 starting at 2pm, and possibly be slightly shorter, and Y3/4 on Tuesday and Y5/6 on Wednesday both starting at 1.30pm.
We hope that you all have a wonderful weekend, please stay safe and listen to all the weather advice.
Ms Teagle
