Today, we went to the Indoor Athletics competition at Penryn College. The years 3&4 went in the morning and the years 5&6 went in the afternoon. Both groups really enjoyed it, all with positive feedback and smiling faces! 18 children were taken for each team and each team had to compete in two field events and two track events. The track events included: obstacle, 1×1 lap, 2×2 lap, hurdles, over and under and 4×1 lap relay races. The field events included: chest push, javelin, long jump, 5 strides, speed bounce and vertical jump. The children absolutely loved every minute of it, everyone was kind, supportive and gave 100%. The years 3&4 came 3rd place and the years 5&6 came 2nd place, I am so proud of everyone’s sportsmanship, well done TMS.
