Alesha Dixon (born 1978) is a talented British star who does many amazing things—she sings, dances, appears on TV, and writes books! One of her coolest roles is being an author of children’s books.
Alesha created a fun and exciting book series called Lightning Girl, which is all about a young girl named Aurora who discovers she has superpowers. Aurora isn’t just strong and fast—she’s also brave, kind, and clever, just like a real superhero! Alesha wanted to write stories that inspire children to believe in themselves and never give up, no matter what challenges they face. She says that books are a great way to help kids feel confident and powerful.
Alesha also loves reading and sharing her favourite stories with her own children. She believes that reading can take you on magical adventures and help you learn about the world. Even though Alesha is famous for singing and being on shows like Britain’s Got Talent, she says writing books is one of the most rewarding things she’s ever done. Through her stories, she hopes to encourage children to dream big and be proud of who they are—just like Lightning Girl!
