Marazion’s dance was based our class reader The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe. During our dance we travelled through the wardrobe, experienced the harshness of winter in Narnia, battled with Aslan before finishing the dance in Spring and heading back through the wardrobe.

Last week Year 5 had a brilliant week performing dances all centred around the theme of mental health and wellbeing. We absolutely loved our week with Grace – she brought us all together as one team to perform in unison creating something really special. Thank you Grace!

This Friday afternoon on ‘Children In Need’ day, our Year 6 children delivered a compelling dance performance exploring the pitfalls of social media. Through dynamic choreography led by our incredible instructor Grace, the dancers skilfully conveyed hidden messages about the overuse of technology and social media with fitting background music and spoken word poetry. The children demonstrated great creativity and collaborative skills in their performing arts and they should be all very proud of what they have achieved.
