Sports Day Celebrations
Well done to everyone who took part in this year’s Sports Day events — it was fantastic mornings filled with enthusiasm, teamwork and determination.
Our Year 5 and 6 pupils enjoyed their Sports Day on Monday morning, with fantastic support from our Year 4 pupils, who did an incredible job helping with the activities. On Tuesday morning, it was the turn of our Year 3 and 4 pupils, who were supported by our Year 6 pupils. Both events were a wonderful celebration of sport and teamwork.
The weather was kind to us, our parents and carers were incredibly supportive, and every child showed great effort and determination, always trying their absolute best. It was wonderful to see so many children taking part, encouraging each other and celebrating one another’s achievements.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined in and came along to support the children. We would also like to thank our Year 4 and Year 6 pupils for their fantastic help with running the activities, and all of our teachers who came out to support the events and did an amazing job scoring each activity.
Certificates were presented during a special Sports Day assembly. The results from each year group were combined, with performances measured and timed to find the overall top three places for each gender category.
Well done to everyone who took part — we are incredibly proud of all of you!
