Our Maths team (Mrs Lara, Mr Wake and Mrs Jerome-Snell, alongside Ms Teagle) were in maths monitoring across the whole school this week. There was fantastic maths taking place with secure lesson structure, KIRFS and unbelievable timetables knowledge especially in Y3 and 4! Year 2s were so excited, investigating sharing numbers into different groups, Year 3 learning about perimeter and Year 4 dividing by 100. Looking at books and talking to children from all year groups showed a real enthusiasm for maths and we can’t wait to find out more!

We also involved our Y6 ambassadors in monitoring. Thank you Jowan, Imogen and Hasan for their  contributions, really insightful, interesting and much valued.
