Where learning is fuelled by creativity

Mrs Pascoe – today is for you!

16th June 2021 in Whole School

What a fantastic day to remember Mrs Pascoe.

With our whole school community dressed with a Wales theme, we had a time of celebration and reflection. From conversations about the energy Mrs Pascoe brought to the school, to the care the Macmillan Nurses give to the families of those affected by cancer, it has been a day of laughter, empathy and fun – 3 things Mrs Pascoe really valued. We also listened to the National Anthem, discussed the national emblem and talked about leadership qualities hopefully present in the Welsh National team TONIGHT! Come on WALES!

The school raised £575, which we will add to the JustGiving Page.

The day ended with a football match in the Y5/6 bubble – children v staff. The staff were all exhausted by the end of it, but the 3 goals scored by staff were enough to make it worthwhile – there may be some hobbling teachers tomorrow!

The children have been incredible, and never fail to amaze us with their strength of character and understanding.

We will also be given forget-me-nots by Mrs Pascoe’s family, so that we can plant them in a special area. We will let children know this when it happens.
