Where learning is fuelled by creativity

Newsletter 11.06.2021

11th June 2021 in Newsletters

And we’re back! The buzz of children coming back into school on Monday morning after a week holiday was so exciting and they have been absolutely brilliant! We have had Mr Will Coleman launching a ‘Go Cornish’ project with year 5s, celebrating the Cornish language and heritage. Year 6 have had their first football and netball matches since lockdown, as well as having lots of transition experiences with Richard Lander School – this has been brilliant!  We have also discussed in assemblies this week the G7, Eurohockey championships as well as … THE EUROS!!

This week has also brought us devastating news that Mrs Pascoe has sadly passed away. Her impact on Threemilestone School over her THIRTY years has been wonderful, touching the lives of so many children and families. We have a condolence book in school if you want to come and write in it, or alternatively, you are welcome to leave a message on our school website Click Here , sharing memories, love and thanks, so that the Pascoe family can share aspects of school as it was such a big part of Mrs Pascoe’s life.

Our love goes out to all her family – a simply wonderful lady.

Euro 2020 Match Reports

Over the next few weeks whilst Euro 2020 is happening, children at TMS have the opportunity to become football pundits and write match reviews of the games as they are broadcast live on our screens. Watch, take notes, write a review (try not to be biased). This can be done by hand or typed up. Bring the match review in as soon as possible to go on our Euro 2020 hall display. Small prizes every week for the most exciting! We can’t wait to read them.

Parent Help

If anyone within our TMS community has some knowledge/ expertise of bikes and has some time to spare, we would really appreciate some help with maintenance on some of our EYFS bikes. Please get in touch with us in the office for further details.

Car park safety

For the safety of everyone, we would like to remind you to use the path around the edge of the staff park. Thank you for your cooperation.
