It has been so exciting to have our school community back in force this week! The children have adapted brilliantly back to the routine of school and focus on learning, and of course playing and seeing their friends again. We have seen wonderful displays of kindness and compassion, as the children have worked together to navigate their way back to normal. Thank you to all the grown ups our children live with for preparing them so fantastically to life back to school.
We have much excitement amongst staff for the learning taking place in the next 3 weeks before the Easter holidays … so please, continue to follow the National Lockdown guidance to ensure that together we keep the infection rate as low as possible. As we say to the children: Together, Everyone Achieves More!

Red Nose Day – Friday 19th March 2021
This year’s Comic Relief Day is advertised as a much needed day of fun, laughter and jokes, while we raise money for a wonderful charity. We are having a non-uniform day, with the option of children dressing up as ‘Superheroes’ – the National theme of 2021.
Each year group bubble will be focused on Comic Relief throughout the day, from participating in quizzes and jokes to learning about where the money goes. Unfortunately, we will not be able to take part in any whole school activities, fundraising after school or any cake sales …this year!
Please can all children bring in a donation of £2 which can go towards Comic Relief.
Annual Questionnaire for parents/carers
As you know, at Threemilestone School we value the views and opinions of everyone in our school community. It is crucial that we get regular feedback from children, staff and families in order to develop and improve our provision.
This will only take 3 minutes of your time … but if you have more than one child, please can you do one form for each child.
As an extra incentive for you this time, your child will receive 5 STAR tokens if you fill in the questionnaire!!!
Thank you as always for your time and commitment in working with the school to make it the best place possible for your child.

End of term – Thursday 1st April
School finishes at 1.15pm on this day – A reminder that there will be no Pebbles or Bibbles after school childcare provision. There will also be no Study club sessions on the last day of term.
FOODBANK use over EASTER holiday
Truro Foodbank have contacted the school to say that they are able to do a food delivery of a package to cover breakfast and lunch, containing items such as longlife milk, cereal, tinned meat, beans, pasta, tinned fruit, biscuits and fruit juice. If you are worried about finances and how to feed your family over the Easter Holidays, please do not hesitate to contact the school and we can give your number to the Foodbank. This is a wonderful charity. Please make use of the offer if you are anxious, and also, please donate if you are able to: times are really challenging for lots of families in our community.
Booking School Lunches
Please remember to book and pay for your child’s school lunch through Parent Pay on a daily basis. Please book this by 9am at the latest or your child’s meal may not be recorded in the kitchen numbers. If you have forgotten please ring the office and we can book a meal for you.
Update medicines in school
As the children return to class, if your child normally has any prescribed medication in school, please take the time to check with their class teacher or the school office that we have everything they need and it is in date.
