Where learning is fuelled by creativity

Please be safe online

25th March 2020 in Online safety

We are overwhelmed by the level of interest in learning going on in our TMS homes – and thank you so much for all the questions from parents for clarification about strategies and comments from children showing off what they have been doing – what a learning curve! Please do not hesitate to contact us with any queries – or opportunities to show off what has been learnt (children and parents!)!

However, due to the nature of the National crisis, we would assume that there is also an increase in children being online, on activities not necessarily linked to learning.  Please, please, please monitor your child’s online activity.

It is always good practice NOT to have gaming in bedrooms, out of earshot, and also as adults, we need to be checking daily messages on whatever platforms they are on. Remember, they are children and are still learning how to be safe in the world. they need our support and guidance. They are children exposed to the World Wide Web in their place of safety: their homes.

If you want any specific guidance, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Bagley, our resident expert, on year3homelearning@threemilestone.cornwall.sch.uk
