This afternoon the Pop-Up Primary Orchestra ‘popped up’ in our school hall and we welcomed children from many other primary schools in and just outside Truro.  Our 5 violinists and toot (beginner flute) joined children on violins, trumpets, cornets, clarinets, flutes and a double bass to learn and play two pieces together.  The orchestra was conducted by Patrick Bailey and it was great to bring everyone together to experience playing in an orchestra.  We rounded off the afternoon with a version of Jingle Bells taking turns to play the melody and listen to others playing.
