The new PALs had a fantastic first meeting to decide where they would like to focus their efforts and improve the school. All the PALs had a wealth of ideas to share and are very excited to be helping to lead the school! Year 6 even took the initiative to start a suggestions box in their classroom.
They have decided to begin by writing thank you letters to the visitors we have welcomed into the school leading up to St Piran’s day as well as other adults and members of staff who have been working tirelessly to make it a success!
As there will be a whole new year group in September and we have been welcoming children in various year groups across the school, the PALs have also decided to look at how to share ‘ TMS way’ with them as well as what could be put together as a welcome pack to help them feel part of the school before they arrive.
As leaders, they want to pave the way for the rest of the school to ensure everyone is included and feels part of the school community. We will be meeting weekly to discuss our progress and look at how to keep moving forward!
