Cornwall Reading Challenge 2026 – Extraordinary Explorers!
The Cornwall Reading Challenge starts on Saturday 11th July. The theme this year is “Extraordinary Explorers” and participants are encouraged to ‘explore’ reading that appeals to them. Pop into any library in Cornwall and sign up to the Reading Challenge. Participants receive a Challenge booklet and receive incentives and stickers as they progress through the Challenge. Just by signing up, participants will receive a voucher for a free swim!
Participants that complete the Challenge will receive a personalised certificate and medal/keyring and a code for a Treasure Trail!
The aim of the Reading Quest is to read at least 6 books of your choice during the Challenge period. Children who might this this too tricky, can instead participate in the One and All Challenge and work their way through activities instead. It is FREE to take part in the Challenge and FREE to join the library if you are not already a member.
The Challenge ends on Saturday 12th September. We look forward to seeing you in the libraries this summer!
