This week has been Science/STEM week at TMS and we’ve had lots of fun with our learning! This year’s theme has been ‘Change and adapt’. We have all taken part in a national live lesson. In Y1 and 2 we became change champions earning our Biodiversity buddy, Energy expert and Waste warrior badges. In KS2, had a Space live lesson with Tim Peake and in EYFS they learnt about engineering storytime live lesson.

Then on Wednesday, the whole school from EYFS to Y6 buddied up with our partner class to learn about how aeroplanes fly and to design and make our own ‘Stunt jets’ with our STAR team partners. The school was buzzing with excitement and creativity, a pleasure to see! Finally on Friday we had our Stunt jet competition and found out who our Scientists of the week were in our Celebration STAR assembly.
