The reading challenge has already kicked off .. but it’s not too late! Children can join anytime throughout the summer holidays. The Challenge ends on September 16^th so there is plenty of time to take part.

All you need to do is go to ANY library and sign up to the Challenge, collecting a fun and colourful Story Trail Collector leaflet. If you haven’t got  a library card, you can join up there and then; it’s very quick and easy.

You then read 6 library books of their choice, any genre, over the summer- yes, only 6!

For each visit you read 2 books and write the titles down on their leaflet, giving them a rating. On each visit you collect stickers to put in the leaflet and a small reward.

So over the summer you make 4 visits to the library. On the last visit, having read 6 books, you collect an environmentally friendly medal and a certificate for completing the Challenge.

Of course you are welcome to read many more than 6 books!
