It has been an exciting day for TMS! This morning, Year 6 discovered frog spawn floating on the surface of one of our school ponds! Bodelva classroom has taken a sample of spawn and the whole year group is very excited to see the tadpoles develop through the process of metamorphosis.
On closer inspection of the pond, we then located a lonely newt amongst the pond weed. The newt was a very exciting discovery and it is fantastic to know that our school pond is thriving with such an abundance of wildlife! Spring has most definitely sprung, so keep your eyes peeled for more pond related updates!
