This week the Y3 children were fortunate enough to have a visit from the Cornish Caretakers who gave the children a fantastic afternoon of belly laughs and learning. A fantastic interactive performance filled with historical knowledge all about Cornwall and significant people who helped shape the way it is today, from Richard Trevithick to Lydia Taylor (the first and only female mine manager!) and many in between with a finale of the Puffing Devil in motion! It is safe to say the adults and children alike learned lots and lots while having a wonderful time. Thank you to the Cornish Caretakers for visiting our school.
