Where learning is fuelled by creativity

TMS Getting Active

24th May 2019 in Wellbeing, Whole School
We are continuing to encourage everyone in the school community to increase their activity levels,
The whole school Star learning topic will be focusing on Playground Games, and consequently we are very interested in finding out the sort of playground games and the sort of playground equipment the parents and Grandparents of our pupils used to enjoy when they were at school. We would like to compile many of these ideas  into a book which will then be available for families to use to inspire their play at home. We would be thrilled if you could send your playground game ideas and memories to us so that we can teach them to the children and record them for posterity.
You can either drop off ideas at the school office or email them to secretary@threemilestone.cornwall.sch.uk

In addition we have sent each child home with another Activity Journal so that they can record how active they have been over half term and each class can celebrate the activity levels of their children and adults, and also the variety of ways which people are choosing to be active. Please complete them with your child and return them to school on the Monday that we return.
We also have an email address caughtactive@threemilestone.cornwall.sch.uk which we would like our families to use to send photos of themselves being active. It will be really exciting to see the huge variety of different ways that our pupils and their families are being active and these photos will be a source of inspiration to others.
