A small group of excited children from Year 5 and Year 6 visited Waterstones today to celebrate the release of the latest Percy Jackson book, The Court of the Dead. We enjoyed a variety Percy-themed craft activities which included necklace making and badges. We spent a little bit of time exploring the loaded shelves of Waterstone book store. We had the opportunity to speak staff members about reading at Threemilestone School and our favourtie authors. The team at Waterstones were very impressed with how articulate and knowledgeable our children were. They represented Threemilestone School wonferfully! Finally, we finished our trip by purchasing the new book for our shelves back at school! We can’t wait to hear what our children think of this much anticipated book!
