At TMS we plan our curriculum carefully to suit the needs of our children and our school – we never plan more than a year in advance! This year, we changed our original plan to have a whole school project on ‘Playground Games’.
We realised that at playtimes, children had limited knowledge of games, and therefore weren’t able to play as happily as we would hope. We worked as a staff team to plan a half term of learning, involving all subject areas, on making our STAR learning (Stimulating, Team-based, Aspirational, Relevant) really exciting for our children.
