What a fantastic day celebrating our superheroes working in Treliske Hospital, raising money for the Children’s Cancer Unit. Dressing up and using our super powers, we have completed a SUPERHERO ACTIVITY CIRCUIT – and importantly, getting sponsored to complete this challenge!
We have also been learning about the amazing work the hospital has been doing, as well as thinking about the skills and character the incredible medical teams have.
As Chacewater School have also been raising money, we couldn’t resist a TTRS MATHS CHALLENGE .. we’ll find out the winners and let you know!

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to our school community for the incredible money raised today.
As someone who has a dear friend with a child currently undergoing treatment in the children’s cancer ward, I’ve seen first-hand and how much strength, resilience, and hope these little fighters and their families need every single day. But I’ve also seen how deeply your generosity can make a difference.
Your donations don’t just fund medicine or equipment. They bring comfort, smiles and laughter to the wards. They help create spaces where children can feel like children, even for a moment—through toys, books, art supplies, and safe, welcoming environments. They give families one less thing to worry about in a time full of worry.
Watching a child you love walk through this journey is incredibly hard—but knowing there are people like you out there, giving so selflessly, brings a kind of light that words can’t fully express.
Thank you for being part of that light. It matters more than you know.
