Our Year 6 children recently had an exciting opportunity to visit Truro College as part of their learning about future careers. During the visit, they explored the site and learnt about the wide range of courses and facilities the college has to offer, including sports, the arts, cookery, HR, photography, music, motor vehicle maintenance, engineering, construction, and more. The children were introduced to different types of qualifications students can choose such as A levels, BTECs and even degrees, helping them to understand the many pathways available as they continue their education. The experience inspired them to start thinking about their future goals and what they can begin doing in secondary school to help them follow a career they are passionate about.
