Truro School would like to invite pupils from across Cornwall to join us for our Year 5 Maths Masterclasses. Our masterclass sessions provide an opportunity for pupils to experience engaging maths lessons at Truro School. Year 5 pupils from any primary school are invited to sign up. Pupils will engage in a variety of different topics, meet fellow gifted pupils from around the county and develop deeper thinking skills. Each masterclass will consist of a 2 hour session with one of our specialist teachers. The sessions will include:

Saturday 20 April: Session 1 – Probability
Saturday 27 April: Session 2 – The Mobius Strip
Saturday 11 May: Session 3 – Tactics in Games
The masterclasses will run from 10am – 12pm at Truro School (TR1 1TH), with snacks and drinks provided. There is no charge for the event and pupils are welcome to sign up for 1,2 or all 3 of the sessions.
